<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">These were my wedding colors and I DIY-ed most of my wedding! I maded my garter, all the flower pieces and my bouquet! My bouquet took me ten hours to make but it was totally worth it! Each flower is hand wrapped and either hot glued or sewn. Then I glued all of the flowers on a foam ball that had a PVC pipe handle. Once the flowers were on I then wrapped the handle with the matching ribbon. I loved how it turned out!!! What do you think? I would love to see your comment!</span>Kreative Kelliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04824355862951519428noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-574084705113659189.post-15512759353123275532012-11-11T21:07:00.002-08:002012-11-11T21:09:03.112-08:00Dirtbike Engagement Pictures<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

You can vary the dimensions, of course, but here's what I used to create a bag that's 5" tall, 4.5" wide, and 3" deep.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXtCnOHfCI/AAAAAAAAENU/D7dJEHjrmWo/s1600/step-1.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496059549419273250" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXtCnOHfCI/AAAAAAAAENU/D7dJEHjrmWo/s400/step-1.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 248px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Stack two sheets of newspaper on top of each other. This will be a two-ply bag for extra sturdiness.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Cut out a rectangle that's 15.5" wide and 8.25" tall. If your paper already has a fold in it, align the existing fold with one of the fold lines in the diagram below, unless you don't mind an extra fold appearing somewhere on your bag. I cut out this rectangle, then flipped the paper over so the blue area would be on the outside of the bag.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXtCNSooKI/AAAAAAAAENM/Hs0vqTexz9U/s1600/step-2.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496059542458900642" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXtCNSooKI/AAAAAAAAENM/Hs0vqTexz9U/s400/step-2.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 192px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Fold a flap 1.25" down from the top. Fold a flap 2" up from the bottom. Then measure off and make vertical folds in the places shown in the diagram above. The front and back panels are 4.5" wide, the side gussets are 3" wide, and you'll need a 0.5" flap for gluing the bag together.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Cut two pieces of cardstock or chipboard to 4.25" x 1", then glue them on the widest two panels just under the top fold. These will reinforce the rim of the bag. Glue the top flap down along the length of the bag, covering the cardstock. Since the bag is two-ply, you'll need to glue both flap pieces down one at a time.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXszRXBT9I/AAAAAAAAENE/ASwr0WOug74/s1600/step-3.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496059285852999634" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXszRXBT9I/AAAAAAAAENE/ASwr0WOug74/s400/step-3.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 233px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Put glue on the outside of the 0.5" tab and bring the left-most panel over to form the body of the bag, aligning the cut edge of the panel with the folded edge of the flap. Add a little more glue to make sure the outermost sheet of newsprint gets tacked down, too.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXszCb_BKI/AAAAAAAAEM8/NAEtoVWVwXw/s1600/step-4.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496059281847288994" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXszCb_BKI/AAAAAAAAEM8/NAEtoVWVwXw/s400/step-4.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 174px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Upend the bag so the 2" flap is now up. Fold the short sides inward as if you were wrapping a present. If it seems easier, you could also lay the bag on its side and crease those folds against the table.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXsyqM4hMI/AAAAAAAAEM0/Psfbhce7F9w/s1600/step-5.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496059275341497538" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXsyqM4hMI/AAAAAAAAEM0/Psfbhce7F9w/s400/step-5.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 264px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Put glue on both flaps and fold them inward to form the bottom of the bag. Standing the bag upright and pressing down from the inside will help to secure them.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />
</span><br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXsyWHLV8I/AAAAAAAAEMs/x--ByRbZS1g/s1600/step-6.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496059269948856258" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_wXG-O0Gal_o/TEXsyWHLV8I/AAAAAAAAEMs/x--ByRbZS1g/s400/step-6.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 142px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 400px;" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;">Cut a piece of chipboard to 4" x 2.5" and glue it to the bottom of the bag to reinforce it and hide the flaps if you want to be an overachiever.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: "Courier New", Courier, monospace;"><br />

It was easy, and a great way to make the couple some more money! Here, take a look! What do you think?<br />

This is a kid's favorite and one of my favorites as well! I made this in middle school in Mrs. Benson's class! Yes, I actually held onto it for that long, and I still use it! Albert Berghetti and his plate of spaghetti! While you read the poem on the back of the folder, pull the string (aka spaghetti) until you finish the poem! It's a ton of fun and the kids will want you to read it over and over again! I have also seen something like this but you have a poster with a face on it (it could be as simple as a smiley face) and everyone sings a song. If the kids are singing good and loud then the poster face will eat the spaghetti faster! It's a great way to get kids to participant! Here's the poem to Albert Berghetti:<br />

I use this game when I am babysitting, teaching primary or hanging out with the daycare kids! Kids love it, it's fun and simple! I used this template and colored it with coloring pencils then I laminated it so that I can disinfect it and use it again! Great game!Kreative Kelliehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04824355862951519428noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-574084705113659189.post-58198287294416604712011-08-17T21:33:00.000-07:002011-08-17T21:33:58.146-07:00For the Kids-Butterfly Snack Pack<span style="color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I wanted to do something fun for the daycare kids and the 4-H CloverBuds! <span style="font-family: Verdana;">All you need is:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">-SNACK size plastic bag</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">-2 googly eyes</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana;">-wooden clothes pin </span><br />
-<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Pipe Cleaner</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6t5zcl-y3TI/TkyPn3yeF4I/AAAAAAAAABc/BKcEMV_fXio/s1600/Materials.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-6t5zcl-y3TI/TkyPn3yeF4I/AAAAAAAAABc/BKcEMV_fXio/s320/Materials.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">1) Place a dab of hot glue on the top of the clothes pin (by where it opens at)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AriYQN5ZgKY/TkyQKKTk6kI/AAAAAAAAABg/lRyGS-OBvsM/s1600/glue.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AriYQN5ZgKY/TkyQKKTk6kI/AAAAAAAAABg/lRyGS-OBvsM/s320/glue.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">2) Before the glue dries, place the two googly eyes on the glue and firmly press down!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KESCwIaLZ5g/TkyQitm_FeI/AAAAAAAAABk/mFqRvSZK4dw/s1600/eyes.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KESCwIaLZ5g/TkyQitm_FeI/AAAAAAAAABk/mFqRvSZK4dw/s320/eyes.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
